The importance of a risk assessment is to insure that all the equipment is used properly and all people taking part in the thriller. Safety measure are essential as many accidents could occur on set. The main aim is to ensure all equipment is checked and safety procedures are planned out incase of a fire or injury that may happen.
Risk assessments are significant because all people on set must look at all work activities that could cause harm in order to decide whether they are doing enough to meet their legal obligations. This is a minimum requirement and the aim should always be to reduce the risks as much as is reasonably practicable. As well as directors, cast, others who could be affected must also be considered, including temporary workers, volunteers and the general public.There are many potential hazards on sets that we must run through before we use the set.
